Job Description

The Opportunity The Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining weekly production to ensure crane builds stay within scope of work and timelines. The Role Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly production schedule as well as an overarching schedule for complete crane build backlog Works closely with parts team to ensure BOM are correct and ready for production Track the progress of production Ensuring production team meets set timelines determined by sales & engineering Work with vendors and third party contractors to maintain timeframes and workflow Daily communication with production team on timeframes and upcoming projects (Responsible for organizing a daily production scheduling meeting) Support continuous improvement of procedures and systems Ensure the productivity of crane install employees Ensure that safety rules and health and safety standards are met Works with the sales, planning & engineering team to advise status of builds and updates

The Candidate Education:

College Diploma pertaining to production or relevant experience Work Experience:

3 to 5 years in a production environment Knowledge:

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); Knowledge of best practices in production; knowledge of quality standards
