Description Deliverables: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop tailored recommendations, and assist in the implementation and optimization of technical architectures that seamlessly integrate public cloud environments, artificial intelligence, and on-premises hosting. These architectures will adhere to Ontario government standards and incorporate advanced optimization strategies to enhance scalability, security, and foster innovation. The project aims to position the government to capitalize on future technological advancements and achieve superior operational efficiency. Continuous assessment of technological trends will be necessary to ensure ongoing alignment with the latest best practices. Key Responsibilities: Evolve government technical architectures and implement collaborative architecture strategies. Evaluate cloud and on-premises performance, recommend enhancements, and oversee architecture methodologies. Analyze systems, develop solutions, and guide large systems design. Develop strategic business reports, update business process models, and produce comprehensive architecture documentation. Oversee technical architecture implementations and manage their business impact. Research emerging technology trends and brief stakeholders on new technologies. Guide IT strategy development. Skills and Experience Requirements: Experience leading or supporting projects involving artificial intelligence in government or similar organizations (40%). Public sector experience (20%). Strong communication skills to enable executive decision-making (10%). Must Haves: Experience with assessments, recommendations, and implementation of technical architectures integrating cloud, AI, and on-premises hosting. Ability to evolve government technical architectures and implement collaborative strategies. Evaluate performance, recommend enhancements, and lead architecture methodologies. Analyze systems, guide design, develop reports, and oversee implementations.
