Senior Residential Designer / Client Lead – Design-Build Projects

Edmonton Area | Full-Time | Design-Build Projects

We’re looking for a Senior Residential Landscape Designer who wants more than producing drawings — someone who wants to lead projects, influence outcomes, and see their designs built.

This role sits at the intersection of design, client leadership, and project success. You’ll guide homeowners from the first conversation through concept design, pricing input, and collaboration with construction teams to bring projects to life. If you enjoy shaping spaces, managing client relationships, and contributing to projects that actually get built, this role offers the ownership and impact many designers are looking for.

What You’ll Do

Lead residential client consultations and translate needs into design concepts

Create presentation-ready and buildable design packages

Contribute to project estimating and scope development

Guide clients through decisions, revisions, and approvals

Work closely with operations teams to ensure designs align with budget and construction realities

What We’re Looking For

Comfort working directly with clients and leading conversations

Understanding of construction processes and buildability

Exposure to estimating, pricing, or project scoping

Someone who wants ownership of projects, not just production work

Compensation

Base salary around $60,000

Tiered commission tied to project success

Strong earning potential for designers who drive projects forward
