Location Preferred : Toronto, Ontario
Travel : Up to 50% within Canada & U.S. with occasional trips to headquarters in Finland
Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, curious, and self-motivated
Business Development & Sales Sr. Director
to join our growing team. In this high-impact, individual contributor role, you will own and execute the sales strategy for key named accounts in Canada including resellers. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, marketing, and leadership to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and exceed ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for key accounts.
Set and achieve aggressive sales goals and KPIs in alignment with the executive team.
Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, deeply understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities.
Conduct market analysis to uncover growth areas and new opportunities.
Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring a healthy pipeline.
Negotiate and close deals with favorable terms for both clients and the company.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
Lead the creation and presentation of sales materials with support from the product team.
Provide regular performance updates and insights to drive ongoing improvement.
Leverage CRM and analytics tools to measure success and optimize the sales process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
8+ years of proven success in B2B sales leadership, ideally in technology or telecommunications.
Strong familiarity with broadband, cable, or related technologies is preferred.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and deliver results.
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Compensation
Compensation is based on individual qualifications, including experience, education, and skill set with an annual target compensation of CAD$244,975 to CAD $326,000. This is our first position in Canada and we are in the process of determining other benefits.
