Job Description
We're hiring an Advanced Analyst for our Data and Insights team, where the role is to apply statistical skills, research methodologies, and data analysis to represent the voice of the player. reporting to a Director of Analytics, you will work with senior leadership to shape strategy and inform key decisions across a portfolio of ARPG titles, contributing across multiple live and in-development titles, gaining rapid context and balancing shifting priorities for diverse project teams.
Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership and executives to establish, prioritize, and execute research and analytics roadmaps that directly impact game and studio-level decision making
Contribute across multiple titles within the portfolio, rapidly building context and balancing shifting priorities to deliver high‑impact analysis for a variety of teams
Champion analytics projects from the conceptual stages through communication of results and recommendations
Use player data—behavioral, clustering, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing—to inform decisions
Utilize third‑party data to make inferences about the competitive landscape and inform decision‑making
Partner with designers, product managers, producers, and engineers to determine the data needed from a game to understand how players engage with its features and systems
Engage with peers to develop and share best practices, establishing subject‑matter expertise in core game analytics
Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor important game features and business health, applying automation and insights when relevant
Requirements
5+ years of experience applying quantitative or statistical methods to produce insights from data
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate competing perspectives, and drive alignment through clear, confident communication
Proven ability to work across multiple titles simultaneously, manage competing priorities, and adapt in a fast‑paced, evolving development environment
SQL proficiency and ability to extract data from large data sources with differing structures
Proficiency with a statistical analysis tool (e.g., R or Python) to perform analysis
Proficiency with a data visualization tool (e.g., Looker) to build clear, user‑friendly data visualizations, tables, and dashboards
Familiarity with version control and reproducible research best practices

PAY RANGES
British Columbia (depending on location e.g., Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$111,600 - $152,800 CAD
Pay range is based on relevant business and candidate factors. Benefits include vacation (3 weeks per year to start), sick time (10 days per year), paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan for regular full‑time employees, and eligibility for bonus and equity.
