Position Overview

Responsibilities
Own the process for working with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams to understand and translate project requirements into comprehensive solution designs.
Develop and document architectural patterns, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across projects and applications.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support the architectural vision in collaboration with internal teams.
Oversee and execute daily technical operations for assigned clients.
Ensure systems, services, and on‑site technology remain stable, functional, and monitored consistently.
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
Prepare and deliver recurring reports on system health, incidents, and operational performance.
Support and maintain a consistent communication cadence with clients.
Act as the first line of technical response for client‑reported incidents.
Work with the Project Management team to scope and coordinate technical projects.
Administer on‑site tasks related to project execution, including scheduling, staging, and validations.
Coordinate with external vendors for implementation and installation tasks as required.
Maintain and update all site‑related documentation, including as‑built diagrams, asset records, and configuration details.
Skills And Knowledge
Solid foundation in operating systems, particularly Microsoft Windows Server (2019+) and related technologies.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Familiarity with networking and security, including LAN, WAN, routing, and firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki).
Basic skills in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
Understanding of cloud services and cloud security principles, including Azure, Azure AD, and O365 identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and support team members in their professional growth.
Maintain and advance professional and technical knowledge by pursuing relevant Microsoft certifications and staying current with industry trends.
WHMIS training for on‑site support requirements.
Local and international travel (USA and beyond), CBSA clearance required.
Driver’s license.
Ability to work after hours to complete projects as needed or on‑call rotation availability for escalations coverage.
Education And Experience
Diploma or certificate in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited educational institution. Substantial professional experience in a relevant field may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, preferred.
2‑4 years of experience in a technical role involving the implementation and support of infrastructure projects, with a focus on Azure and Microsoft technologies.
Hands‑on experience with Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Storage, Azure Migrate, and Azure Backup.
Practical experience in migrating physical and virtual servers to Azure.
Compensation And Additional Perks
Competitive compensation based on skill set and experience can range between $90,000 and $110,000 per year.
