Your Role in Supporting Our Members: As a

Senior Financial Systems Analyst , you will play a critical role in ensuring the administration and performance of Vancity’s finance systems. You’ll collaborate with finance and IT teams to maintain system integrity, optimize processes, and ensure accurate data for financial reporting and analysis. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, analytical professional who thrives in problem‑solving and can confidently provide technical expertise to stakeholders.

Full-time, Temporary

role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Accounting and Finance Operations. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on‑site for events and business demands.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Collaborating with IT Solutions to maintain system performance, software licenses, and version updates

Administering finance systems by managing user provisioning, access reviews, and account creation

Monitoring system performance metrics and escalating issues for timely resolution

Uploading month‑end ancillary system data, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts into accounting systems and verifying accuracy

Performing year‑end ancillary system close and roll forwardSupporting finance teams by creating standardized templates to drive accuracy and consistency

Conducting ad hoc investigations and data analysis using SQL queries and other tools

Assisting with annual financial statement audits by gathering and analyzing requested data

Providing recommendations for system optimization and collaborating on upgrades or integrations

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or Business Administration

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial systems administration or similar technical role

Proven experience with system migrations, integrations, and upgrades

Expertise in reporting tools and data analysis techniques (e.g., SQL, Power BI)

Strong understanding of accounting concepts and practices

Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

What You’ll Earn: The salary range for the role is

$71,500 to $107,300 , and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid‑point of the role

($89,400) . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
