Job Description What is the Opportunity Join our AML IT team as a Senior Communications & Visualization Specialist, where you'll be the creative force behind executive storytelling and strategic portfolio showcasing. You'll transform complex AML IT initiatives and achievements into compelling, visually stunning narratives that resonate with senior leadership and stakeholders. This is a unique chance to elevate how our $40MM portfolio is communicated and perceived across the organization.

What Will You Do?

Design and build executive-facing decks and presentations

that distill complex AML IT programs, status updates, and strategic initiatives into clear, visually compelling narratives tailored for C-suite and senior leadership audiences.

Develop comprehensive portfolio showcase materials

that highlight the value, impact, and progress of AML IT investments, ensuring executive visibility and stakeholder confidence.

Create data-driven visualizations and infographics

that transform metrics, project statuses, and performance data into actionable insights and engaging visual formats.

Partner cross-functionally

to gather insights from technical and business stakeholders, translating their expertise into compelling executive communications.

Establish and maintain communication standards

that ensure consistency, professionalism, and storytelling excellence across all AML IT materials and updates.

Manage multiple concurrent communication projects

while maintaining attention to detail, execution excellence, and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What Do You Need to Succeed? Must-Have

Strong visual and storytelling skills with proven experience creating executive-facing presentations and content.

Advanced proficiency in deck-building tools (PowerPoint, LucidChart, etc.) with an eye for design, layout, and visual hierarchy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and C-suite leadership.

Solid organizational and project management skills to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Ability to build trusted relationships and influence across technical teams and leadership levels.

Creative mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail and execution excellence.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Nice-to-Have

Experience supporting large-scale leadership communications and strategic programs.

Ability to analyze data, metrics, and project statuses to inform executive decision-making.

Comfortable using digital tools and platforms to enhance communication effectiveness.

Background in financial services, risk, or compliance communications.

Familiarity with RBC's internal communication platforms and tools.
