We are hiring a forward‑thinking Director, AI Product Ownership to lead delivery and responsible lifecycle management of AI solutions across our global wealth businesses. This role combines business strategy, AI innovation, compliance rigor, and agile execution. You will be responsible for identifying high‑value AI opportunities, shaping product vision, and working with business partners, engineering teams, data teams, risk partners, and model governance to deliver safe, scalable, and impactful AI products. You will act as the initial AI Product Owner and over time scale a team of AI Product Owners which you will manage.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

Define and own the roadmap for AI products

Evaluate new AI use cases and prioritize based on business impact, feasibility, data readiness, regulatory considerations, and risk profile

Stay current on AI model capabilities, emerging tooling, vector databases, and model orchestration patterns

Work with Business Teams, Operations, Data Teams, Technology, Compliance, and Risk partners to identify and validate AI opportunities

Translate business workflows and pain points into AI product requirements and user journeys

Communicate product vision and measurable outcomes to senior leadership

Lead day‑to‑day product delivery across cross‑functional agile teams

Translate AI capabilities into clear user stories

Partner closely with technology teams to build intuitive, compliant AI‑powered experiences

Ensure products meet high standards of reliability, latency, security, and scalability

Partner with Model Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal on use case risk assessments, fairness, safety, and hallucination controls, prompt and model testing approaches, human‑in‑the‑loop review mechanisms and documentation for AI model governance

Ensure all AI solutions adhere to enterprise AI policies and regulatory expectations relevant to financial institutions

Understand how LLMs, embeddings and prompt architectures work

Partner with technical teams on retrieval strategies and knowledge curation, evaluation frameworks (e.g., quality, safety, hallucination rates) and model monitoring, usage analytics, and continuous improvement

Support experiments, iteration, and user‑feedback loops

Work with business partners, to roll out and support change management for advisors, employees, and client‑facing AI tools

Define success metrics and track realized value (OKRs related to productivity, efficiency, user satisfaction)

Gather user feedback and continuously enhance the product

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

5+ years in product management or AI/analytics roles; experience within financial services is strongly preferred

A strong understanding of AI concepts, such as large language models

Experience delivering AI or digital products in agile environments

The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language

Experience partnering with compliance, privacy, and model risk functions

Familiarity with responsible AI frameworks and regulatory expectations for AI in financial institutions

Experience in Wealth Management

Hands‑on exposure to LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Microsoft CoPilot)

An understanding of MLOps and LLMOps concepts

Comfort working with unstructured and structured data, knowledge sources, and document repositories

A background in UX for AI or conversational experience design

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to unite Business, Functional, and technical partners around a common goal

Strong leadership and influencing abilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross‑functional teams without direct authority

A data‑driven approach to decision‑making and are a strategic and analytical thinker
