Your Impact OpenText is seeking a dynamic and experienced SOC Sr. Manager to lead a Security Operations Center (SOC) team and manage our India operations for Managed Security Services Practice. This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of security operations, building a high‑performing team, and contributing to the continued growth of our cybersecurity services. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Oversee team staffing, scheduling, and performance management to ensure 24/7 operational coverage and adherence to service level objectives.

Establish and standardize delivery practices to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality across engagements.

Provide both technical and operational thought leadership in the delivery of Managed Security Services.

Ensure high‑quality customer engagements that align with business goals and exceed expectations.

Collaborate with sales and presales teams to support business development and drive revenue growth.

Deliver strategic cybersecurity guidance to customers and prospects, helping them navigate evolving threats and technologies.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams across global time zones to scope, plan, and deliver global security operations.

Continuously evaluate and improve workflows, incorporating automation and process enhancements to increase efficiency.

Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards; regularly report on KPIs such as incident volume, response times, and threat trends.

Ensure operations align with regulatory requirements and support internal/external audits as needed.

Support the professional development of team members through training plans, mentorship, and career growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years in a technical leadership or people management role within a SOC or cybersecurity environment.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK), and threat landscapes.

Proven ability to manage remote, geographically distributed teams with diverse skill sets.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.

Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Experience with billable services and utilization tracking is a plus.

Salary Range:

$109,830.00 – $159,830.00; depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
