Company Overview
50,000+ athletes. 22+ locations. Millions of views. Brodie League is more than a basketball league — it's a community. As one of North America's fastest-growing sports brands, Brodie League is redefining adult recreational basketball by delivering an elevated, professional-quality experience rooted in culture, competition, and community. Our mission is to make every league night the best night of the week for our athletes. We're building a hybrid platform where physical sport meets digital experience — a mobile app, admin operations system, registration portal, and content engine that together serve 50,000+ athletes across 20+ cities.
Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Lead is the driving force behind Brodie League's ability to attract, identify, and secure top talent. This role owns the full recruitment lifecycle — from the moment a role opens to the moment a great hire walks through the door — and is responsible for building the systems, standards, and culture that keep our hiring bar exceptionally high as we scale. You are a strategic operator and a people person in equal measure. You bring deep knowledge of recruitment best practices, a sharp eye for talent, and the technical fluency to manage our ATS and build the data infrastructure that keeps our hiring function accountable. You'll represent the Brodie brand in the market, on campus, and in the community — and you'll mentor others to recruit with the same level of intentionality and excellence. Your mission: bring exceptional people into the Brodie League family and build the recruitment engine that scales with us.

Growth Path
This role is built to scale with the company. As Brodie grows from 50,000 to 100,000+ athletes and continues to expand our locations and ideas, the hiring function will need to grow from a one-person operation into a full team. You will help build that team and eventually lead it. At a company growing this quickly, career progression is driven by impact, not tenure. The person in this seat today is positioning themselves to shape talent strategy across the entire organization as we enter new markets.
Why This Role Matters
Most Talent Acquisition roles exist to fill seats. This one exists to build the infrastructure of a company that is actively changing how adults experience sport in North America. You are not inheriting a mature system and maintaining it. You are building the recruitment engine from the ground up at a company that is growing fast. Every hire you make will be felt directly: in the quality of league nights for thousands of athletes, in the content that reaches millions of viewers, and in the culture of a team that is scaling fast and refuses to lower the bar. Your work will not sit in a dashboard somewhere. You will watch the people you bring in run events, launch cities, produce content, and shape the athlete experience in real time. At Brodie, recruiting is not a support function. It is one of the core drivers of whether we succeed or fail at scale.
Artificial intelligence may be used in the recruitment and selection process, including to screen, assess, or evaluate applicants.

Commitment to Inclusion
