Senior Track Engineer
to join our Practice or CBG Team in
Toronto ! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our
Toronto
office.

Responsibilities
Mentor an established Canadian track engineering team delivering projects for Metrolinx, TTC, and freight rail clients (CPKC, CN, Etc.)
Provide technical and project management oversight for planning, design, and construction support of track systems
Ensure compliance with Metrolinx, TTC, Transport Canada, AREMA, and host railway standards
Coordinate track design with structures, signals, traction power, civil, drainage and utility disciplines
Act as Project Manager or senior technical lead, accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Serve as the primary client-facing lead for track-related matters
Provide senior-level construction support as required
Support business development activities, including client engagement and opportunity identification
Contribute to and/or lead track focused proposal development, including technical approach, scope, and fee inputs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario
15+ years of track engineering experience

Experience with rail clients
Strong knowledge of rail standards and operating railway environments
Project management and client-facing experience
Strong leadership, communication, and proposal development skill
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $120,700.00 - $185,900.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
