I'm currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Project Manager for a Quebec-based company recognized for its innovation and technical excellence.

Mission: Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, designing, and managing technical projects aimed at optimizing equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. From concept to implementation, you'll take ownership of projects and drive continuous technical improvement.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical engineering projects.

Design or enhance mechanical systems to boost productivity and reduce costs.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify technical needs and propose tailored solutions.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.

Select and supervise suppliers and external partners.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.

Document projects, write technical reports, and present results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

Experience in technical project management within a dynamic environment.

Skilled in design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management software (MS Project or equivalent).

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Capable of managing multiple priorities at once.

Bilingual - French and English.

Working Conditions

Full-time, permanent position - Monday to Friday, day shift.
