Summary We are seeking an experienced Capital Projects Coordinator to assist with HVAC and capital building projects while providing hands-on technical expertise in maintenance, repairs, and training. This role requires knowledge of building systems, including the building envelope, and the ability to source, evaluate, and manage qualified contractors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with capital building projects from planning, design, and specification through execution

Develop building specifications and ensure compliance with codes and standards

Source, evaluate, and retain qualified contractors and consultants for capital and maintenance projects

Manage contractor and consultant performance, budgets, schedules, and quality of work

Oversee and maintain building envelope systems, including roofing, exterior walls, windows, doors, waterproofing, and insulation

Experience with assessments and remediation projects

Mentor onsite Maintenance team

Perform hands-on maintenance and repair work as required

Oversee and troubleshoot HVAC, hydronic heating, plumbing, and electrical systems

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and organizational standards

Education & Experience

Red Seal Plumber certification

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in capital projects, facilities management, or building maintenance

Working knowledge of the following systems:

HVAC

Hydronic heating

Electrical

Plumbing

Building envelope

Preferred Skills

Strong communication and vendor management skills

Knowledge of building codes, energy efficiency, and regulatory requirements

Proven ability to source and manage contractors and consultants

Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and leadership skills

Demonstrate a positive attitude with enthusiasm and assertiveness

Travel will be required
