Litigation Associate

to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta.

Their litigation team handles sophisticated, high-stakes matters across insurance, municipal, employment, corporate and regulatory disputes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Litigator who is looking for strong mentorship, ability to own their files and to build their practice within a reputable firm.

The Role:

Managing insurance litigation files from intake through resolution.

Conducting legal research and crafting persuasive written advocacy.

Drafting pleadings, applications, affidavits, briefs, and settlement materials.

Representing clients in mediations, negotiations, and court appearances.

Advising clients on litigation risk and dispute resolution strategy.

Working closely with a collegial team that values initiative and accountability.

You will have real autonomy to develop as a litigator, backed by experienced partners committed to your progression.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

2–6 years of insurance litigation experience.

Strong written and oral advocacy skills.

Solid understanding of Alberta litigation procedure.

Confident file management and strategic thinking abilities.

Excellent communication skills and client-service orientation.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
