Day-to-day responsibilities
Lead clients through every phase of their manufacturing ERP implementation, from initial needs analysis to successful go‑live, ensuring solutions are tailored to their business processes.
Manage project deliverables, timelines, scope, and change requests, maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
Monitor project budgets and quality, ensuring the cost of quality (COQ) remains below 4% and projects are delivered on time.
Coordinate and leverage the skills of the implementation team and resource pool, aiming to keep your own billable time below 30% per project.
Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and strategic discussions to help clients understand the value and impact of Business Central in their operations.
Gather and analyze client requirements, translating business needs into solution architecture and actionable project plans.
Oversee user acceptance testing, go‑live planning, and provide guidance during the post‑implementation incubation period.
Deliver professional advice and recommendations, helping clients optimize their processes and maximize the benefits of their ERP investment.
Ensure the successful closure of projects, including obtaining client reference letters and supporting long‑term client relationships.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify business needs, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
Share your expertise and coach team members, fostering a supportive and growth‑oriented environment.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience leading manufacturing ERP implementations.
Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry and a strong understanding of industry best practices.
Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central from a manufacturing/operations perspective.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire both internal and client teams.
Strong project management abilities, including managing deliverables, budgets, scope, and change processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and maintain long‑term client relationships.
Analytical mindset, capable of gathering and translating business requirements into actionable solutions.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
