Job Description
Who we are
Isaac Operations is a hands‑on consulting firm that partners with organizations in manufacturing, shipbuilding, automotive, food and beverage, aerospace and defense, and energy to deliver real, lasting process improvement. We don’t just advise — we embed ourselves in our clients’ operations and execute alongside their teams. Technology is an increasingly powerful force multiplier in this work, and our growing Isaac Technology team sits at the intersection of consulting and custom software development, data analytics, and digital transformation.
We are looking for an exceptional Director of Technology to lead our technology team and define its future. This is a rare opportunity for a senior technology leader who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, client engagement, and hands‑on technical delivery. You will inherit a talented team of 10–15 developers, data analysts, and technology consultants, and be given the objective to grow it along with the Isaac Technology business. You must be able to walk into a client’s facility, deeply understand a complex operational problem, and inspire both the client’s leadership and our engineering team with a compelling, practical technology solution. You will be as comfortable presenting to a VP of Operations as you are reviewing a software architecture with your development team.
While we offer a flexible working environment, this role is expected to be in person at our Liberty Village office a minimum of three days per week on average, with additional client travel as needed.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications that your development team can execute with confidence and clarity.
Own delivery quality across the technology portfolio while balancing velocity, quality, and client expectations.
Lead and participate in project steering meetings with clients and internal stakeholders, maintaining clear lines of communication at every level.
Client Engagement & Business Development
Serve as a senior client‑facing leader and trusted advisor, engaging with executives and operational stakeholders to understand their needs and position Isaac’s technology capabilities as transformative solutions.

Lead scoping and requirements gathering sessions, translating complex business problems and operational workflows into compelling, clearly communicated technology solutions.
Act as an internal ambassador for technology across Isaac, working closely with consulting leadership to embed technology into broader project strategies.
Own client relationship management throughout engagements, proactively managing expectations, gathering feedback, and ensuring exceptional delivery and satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Culture
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 10–15 developers, data analysts, and technology consultants, fostering a high‑performance culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
Own the professional development and career trajectories of each team member, being their coach, advocate, and champion.
Drive team morale and motivation, creating an environment where people do their best work and feel genuinely supported.
