Reporting to the President, the
VP Professional Services
is responsible for all aspects of the solutions delivery business and manages professional services staff.
Responsibilities
Carries primary accountability for the profitability of the Professional Services Group.
Carries secondary responsibility for achieving all Revenue Goals (New Software, Renewal Software & Services Revenue). (The VP, Sales carries primary accountability for achieving all revenue goals).
Maintains a strong understanding of the external Business Intelligence market in order to ensure our solution offerings are based upon real and quantifiable market demands. Continuously reviews our solution offerings to ensure we are most effectively going after these market opportunities.
Ensures that the Professional Services Group is tightly integrated and is proactive in participating throughout all aspects of our Selling Process (marketing, sales, pre-sales, implementation, relationship management, etc.).
Handles all administrative duties related to managing staff and departmental budgets.
Actively participates as a member of the Senior Management team.
Skills
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills and proven ability to work with our customers’ senior management levels.
Knowledge the competitive market,
Proven presentation, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills and proven ability to communicate our value proposition.
Extensive experience in progressively senior positions within a solution/services delivery environment.
Proven experience implementing effective management processes within complex environments.
Proven multi-tasking, time-management, project management, problem-solving and team-building skills within complex environments.
10+ years of progressively increasing managerial responsibility within an environment with technical staff.
Ability to travel regularly.
Bilingualism (English, French) is an asset.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
