Job Description

Job Description Do you have experience in the aerospace industry, have you worked in cabin & doors system design engineering, cabin & doors system integration and/or cabin & doors system maintenance engineering, and would you like to progress and develop new skills? Then this job is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Analyst - Cabin & Doors System to join our Maintenance Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with various Airbus teams, including, but not limited to, system design engineering, in‑service repair engineering, the A220 programme office, and the airworthiness, reliability & safety teams.

You will be part of the Maintenance Program Management team responsible for developing a consistent and cost‑effective maintenance program for new system designs and improvements within the A220 commercial aircraft Programme. The team organization is established to foster autonomous cross‑collaboration, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Maintenance Engineering Analyst - Cabin & Doors System is to develop, monitor, challenge and improve all scheduled maintenance requirements of the aircraft systems under your responsibility. To achieve this, you will have to primarily apply a holistic, top‑down approach grounded in reliability‑centred maintenance (MSG‑3) methodology and in‑service experience, in accordance with continuous airworthiness regulation.

Working Environment The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, where the vibrant city of Montreal is just a stone’s throw away. Known for its peaceful and safe environment, the region offers a high quality of life for younger or experienced professionals and families, perfectly balancing career opportunities and outdoor activities that makes it a truly special place to call home.

How we care for you Financial rewards: Attractive salary, annual bonus, group insurance plan, pension plan and share purchase plan.

Work / Life Balance: A hybrid working policy (based on operational needs), on‑site cafeterias and a highly competitive holiday policy.

Wellbeing/Health: Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Program, on‑site Medical Service, access to a public shuttle service between Laval (Montmorency metro station) and Mirabel, and a carpooling application.

Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to over 10,000 e‑learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimise and update the recommended scheduled maintenance tasks based on MSG‑3 methodology for the A220 aircraft systems under your responsibility, ensuring an efficient aircraft maintenance program from safety, availability and economic perspectives.

Identify and lead initiatives to optimise mandatory scheduled maintenance tasks derived from the type certification process (airworthiness limitations and Extended‑range Twin‑engine Operations Performance Standards – ETOPS).

Take ownership and assess any A220 system design development and improvement to influence potential design modifications and/or incorporation schedule adjustments, with the goal of achieving an efficient maintenance program implementation.

Consider all the A220 fleet in‑service issues and customer feedback to improve the A220 maintenance programme and enable an increased operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with a team of four to jointly identify the scope of work, then define, coordinate and drive the execution of all required activities on time and provide visibility to your management.

Develop, review and approve all scheduled maintenance tasks under your responsibility through “paper” validation and on‑aircraft validation.

Identify, develop and implement processes and standalone projects on your own initiative to enhance the effectiveness of the A220 maintenance programme development.

Prepare, present and strongly support all System Maintenance programme updates under your responsibility in front of A220 customers (airlines) and Civil aviation Authorities for approval.
