Company Description KubeAegis is an open-source, Kubernetes-native control plane designed for operating AI systems in production. The project addresses key challenges such as governance, safety, observability, cost control, and operational clarity by leveraging cloud-native principles. Focused on treating AI workloads and agentic systems as first-class infrastructure, KubeAegis utilizes Kubernetes patterns like CRDs, controllers, and reconciliation loops. It is a vendor-neutral, community-driven initiative that serves as a foundation for future AI infrastructure primitives. KubeAegis actively welcomes contributors with expertise in Kubernetes internals, platform engineering, and AI systems.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for the role of

Co-Founder

located in the Greater Quebec City Metropolitan Area. The Co-Founder will shape the vision and strategic direction of KubeAegis while driving the growth of this open-source project. Responsibilities include developing key partnerships, overseeing marketing and outreach efforts, managing community engagement, conducting market research, and leading efforts in aligning the project’s goals with real-world applications. They will also play an integral role in guiding technical decisions and fostering collaboration with developers, contributors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong Analytical Skills and Research capabilities to identify trends, address challenges, and develop effective solutions.

Excellent Communication skills to engage with contributors, stakeholders, and the broader open-source community effectively.

Experience with Sales, Marketing, and outreach to develop partnerships and increase adoption of the open-source project.

Familiarity with Kubernetes, open-source platforms, and AI systems management is highly beneficial.

Proven leadership abilities and experience in navigating the challenges of early-stage projects.
