This job posting is for an existing vacancy and is a new position at Linxon. As a

Lead Engineer , you play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy infrastructure. You are entrusted with leading, coordinating, and executing all engineering aspects across Linxon’s diverse and high‑impact projects—including Air‑Insulated Switchgear (AIS), Gas‑Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Rail and Infrastructure programs, Data Centers, and both offshore and onshore Wind developments. In this role, you serve as the technical anchor for the project team—driving safety, cost efficiency, quality, and reliability at every stage. You provide strong technical leadership across all engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and alignment from concept through execution. What will you do?

Lead all in‑house and outsourced engineering work from proposal through construction, ensuring every project meets contract expectations and technical excellence. Manage the engineering budget, driving smart cost‑control decisions that keep projects financially strong. Keep engineering schedules on track with a focus on on‑time delivery, high‑quality outputs, and disciplined project costs. Define the project’s technical direction by developing design criteria and maintaining an accurate deliverables list. Introduce innovative, cost‑effective engineering solutions that elevate performance and reduce complexity. Strengthen vendor selection and subcontract negotiations with expert technical insight. Ensure all designs meet safety requirements and industry standards. Review internal and external design packages for accuracy, constructability, and cost efficiency. Verify vendor compliance and witness factory acceptance tests to ensure equipment quality. Support the Project Manager with scope control, procurement, scheduling, and change management. Uphold quality and document‑control processes to maintain clarity and traceability. Lead customer technical discussions, manage engineering approvals, and resolve design‑related questions. Address site queries and NCRs quickly to keep construction moving safely and efficiently. Who you are?

You bring 8+ years of engineering or project management experience, ideally within an EPC environment, giving you the practical insight and leadership skills needed to drive complex energy‑infrastructure projects forward. You hold a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), providing the technical foundation to make informed decisions, solve complex challenges, and lead with confidence in a highly technical setting. Take clear ownership of engineering budgets and decisions. Consistently uphold contract requirements, quality, and safety. Bring strong technical judgment and a collaborative mindset.
