March 9, 2026 – March 31, 2027-1 year with potential of extension

is hiring on behalf of a reputable public sector client in Ontario for

two (2) Senior Application Architects

to lead enterprise SaaS and digital modernization initiatives within a large-scale Digital Experience Platform environment.

Role Overview The Senior Application Architect will serve as the

technical lead for a Digital Experience Platform (DxP)

portfolio supporting:

Vendor and procurement portals

Account and user management platforms

Workflow automation and document/records management systems

This role combines

solution architecture, enterprise governance, SaaS integration, DevOps oversight, and vendor technical leadership .

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Leadership

Conduct architecture and code reviews

Define coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices

Guide React-based front-end implementations aligned to enterprise design systems

Oversee vendor technical delivery and quality standards

Establish branching strategies, release governance, and quality gates

Mentor development teams and support troubleshooting

Enterprise Governance & Compliance

Establish governance and configuration standards for SaaS environments

Ensure compliance with Ontario Public Sector (OPS) policies, privacy, and security directives

Support business cases, vendor evaluations, and procurements

Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps

Design hybrid integration models using

Azure / Entra ID

Architect secure access models (RBAC, IAM, Azure AD)

Design integrations using:

REST APIs

Webhooks

Middleware

iPaaS platforms

Lead integration design across SaaS, legacy, and cloud systems

Delivery & Implementation Support

Support sprint planning and backlog refinement

Provide architecture inputs to DevOps pipelines

Oversee CI/CD, release management, and environment governance

Validate technical solutions during delivery phases

Solution Architecture Blueprints (target & transitional states)

Integration Architecture Designs (logical & physical models)

Workflow & Automation Models

Security & Access Models (IAM / RBAC / Entra ID)

Governance Standards & Configuration Artifacts

Must-Have Qualifications

8+ years in Application / Solution Architecture

Strong experience with

enterprise SaaS modernization

Experience architecting:

Workflow automation

Case management solutions

Strong API and integration architecture experience

Hands-on architecture experience with:

OpenText

Familiarity with

ServiceNow

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (required)

Assets

TOGAF

PMP

ITIL

ServiceNow Architect

OpenText ECM Specialist

Nice-to-Have

ServiceNow or OpenText certifications

Experience integrating with ERP or procurement platforms

Knowledge of digital signatures and secure document exchange

Familiarity with BPMN or process modeling

Awareness of SaaS governance trends and low-code platforms
