What You'll Be Doing As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Manager is responsible for developing tactical plans for a product or service, presenting them for management approval and ensuring their execution. The role applies advanced concepts to develop, recommend and implement annual business plans, manage day‑to‑day product activities, support partner and stakeholder management, and spearhead new product concepts and features to drive growth.

The Senior Manager uses independent judgement to determine methods and approaches, collaborates with the business to engage resources, and ensures the lifetime value of the client is maximized. The role also supports new business development activities including initial concept development, market assessment and business case development.

How You'll Succeed

Strategic planning – develop strategic priorities for product enhancements, sales, and client experience.

Reporting & analytics – interpret complex financial, client and operational data, derive insights, and recommend actions.

Leadership – influence at senior level within a matrix organization, build relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, analytics, finance, technology and distribution partners.

Communication – present complex information clearly and concisely to senior audiences.

Who You Are

5‑7+ years of experience in the financial industry.

Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset; enjoy turning complex data into actionable insights.

Experience in strategic and business planning, with a proven ability to drive new initiatives.

Knowledge of chequing and credit card products, or product management experience in financial services.

Client‑focused mindset and a willingness to go the extra mile.

Comfortable with change and continuous improvement.

Values align with trust, teamwork and accountability.
