Vice President, Admissions Location : Hybrid. Our head office is located in Mississauga, L5N 6S2. In addition, this position will require travel to triOS and Eastern college campuses Start Date:

Base salary of
$145,000 to $165,000 , depending on experience, plus eligibility for a
performance‑based bonus . The Opportunity The Vice President, Admissions is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to enhance student enrollment, brand visibility, and community engagement. This role involves leading the admissions, financial aid, admissions support centre and marketing teams, fostering collaboration across departments, and ensuring the college meets its growth and revenue objectives.As a member of the executive team, the purpose of this position is to ensure efficient and profitable growth of all triOS and Eastern College campuses as well as remote and online learning programs. What you’ll be doing:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the college's mission and goals.
Define and implement organization structure to support profitable growth.
Participate in the preparation of annual enrollment quotas and budgets, working with Finance team.
Manage enrollment quotas and budgets and ensure that all campuses and departments meet their goals.
Implement training and development plans for managers and create succession plans.
Work with Executive Team on setting strategic objectives and goals for the whole organization and support the team in achievement of these goals.
Define success criteria of objectives and goals and measure key performance metrics.
Staff Leadership
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales, financial aid and marketing teams, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Hire and train direct reports to ensure that direct reports are adequately skilled and equipped to perform their duties.
Manage team expectations and ensure effective performance and achievement towards goals and enrollment quotas.
Ensure that direct reports and all admissions staff fully understand program offerings and the scheduling delivery model.
Conduct regular Operations team meetings for information sharing and awareness.
Foster staff professional development in the interest of personal and company growth.
Manage vacations and seek to minimize absenteeism of direct reports.
Review minutes of employee meetings from each campus to ensure they are conducting meetings with all staff and that information is being passed throughout the various faculties and staff.
Marketing And Brand Management
Ensure effective management of the lead to enrollment funnel.
Work with marketing team to build awareness and grow enrollment pipeline.
Ensure regulatory compliance of all marketing activities.
Oversee efficient and effective marketing budget spending.
External Relationships
Conduct market analysis to understand prospective student needs, competitor activities, and industry trends.
Support the development of community awareness to promote campus enrollments and graduate placements.
Support the work of Employment Specialists and other senior management to develop employer contacts that ensure placement of graduates.
Monitor and be aware of competitive activity and make recommendations based on the impact of competition.
Conduct outreach.
Admissions Process
Oversee the admissions process from point of inquiry through enrollment.
Ensure consistency across all campus admission teams with respect to administering protocol for lead follow‑up, contracts, admissions paperwork, business development, outreach, and interviewing.
Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues and problems escalated from an admissions perspective; ensure that appropriate actions are taken to the satisfaction of the student, College, funding agency, and Ministry.
Employ ethical admission practices which meet all regulatory and College standards.
Seek out creative vehicles and methods to attract and convert culturally diverse prospective students.
Continually evaluate and provide feedback to the President regarding admissions testing tools to ensure they are adequate for enrolling quality students.
Establish operational policies and procedures and make any necessary modifications, based on analysis of operations, demographics, and other research information.
Oversee the admissions team business development and outreach.
Oversee major account business development initiatives directly.
Maintain a working knowledge of all regulatory and College policies regarding admissions.
In collaboration with the Admissions team, designs, executes and assesses a comprehensive annual recruitment and retention plan that includes outreach to conferences, exhibits, events, high schools, diverse populations and cultural groups, as well as strategic partnerships.
Profitability
Drive initiatives to increase student enrollment through targeted marketing campaigns and outreach programs.
Maintain & improve the profitability of all campuses as profit centres.
Monitor campus expense budgets and orchestrate the approval process for any exceptional expenditures.
Approve and/or recommend ways of improving profitability by reducing expenses.
Government Regulations
Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal regulations.
Ensure compliance to meet the requirements of the provincial Private Career Colleges Acts and any other regulations or laws (including LSUC, OCPh, etc.) impacting school operations.
Ensure full compliance with all provincial and federal student loan requirements.
Ensure that all admissions requirements are met and documented effectively.
Reporting
Capture and present comprehensive sales and marketing key performance metrics.
Present sales and marketing performance presentations and forecasts monthly.
Attend scheduled meetings with the CEO and/or President and Executive Management Team.
Provide periodic reports, budgets, and performance reviews to CEO and/or President as required.
Update weekly progress on Priorities and KPIs on Rhythm system.

University degree in business or management or similar. Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of sales management experience.
5+ years of senior executive leadership experience.
Experience in education or similar industry is preferred.
Knowledge of government regulatory climate of education.
Knowledge of post-secondary education sector.
Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and financial statements.
Strong ability to manage the needs of several different stakeholders.
A self‑driven individual with the ability to work independently to meet company goals.
A reliable vehicle and a valid provincial driver’s license.
Ability to travel overnight in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, and occasionally into other regions of Canada.
