Job Description

Business Partner Specialist (12 month contract) The opportunity In this role, you will partner with our Investments Business Partner team and other key stakeholders in P&C and functional groups (i.e. Finance) to provide support on a variety of activities and annual P&C programs.

Who you'll work with Reporting to the MD, Business Partner (Investments), this role will support aspects of P&C Business Partner Services. Working closely with members of the business, P&C Business Partners and Manager, Business Partner Support, People Operations and COEs, you will partner on key initiatives and programs to support the delivery of day-to-day activities.

What you'll do Supporting Business Partners for Annual Programs

Prepare support materials/tools for BPs of annual programs, including Compensation, Goal Setting, Workforce Planning, and Talent Review.

Support the preparation and execution of project plans to support P&C program/initiatives.

Draft data-based insights for presentations and decks for divisional and department leaders.

Participate in Performance, Talent, and Succession calibrations, taking notes and updating Talent data on Workday as required

P&C Data Analytics & Reporting

In deep partnership with the Rewards, Operations and Insights (ROI) team and the Manager, Business Partner support, lead all P&O reporting and analytics activities (from Workday and other sources), acting as the primary point of contact for Business Partners and senior leaders.

Deliver scheduled and ad hoc reports covering the full spectrum of people metrics—including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) indicators—sourced from Workday and in partnership with the Senior Manager, DEI. Collaborate closely with People Operations on complex or cross‑functional data needs, ensuring insights are timely, accurate, and actionable.

Provide analytical support for People Pulse (Peakon) results, developing insight‑driven decks for all Divisions and Asset Classes. Present findings to Business Partners and business leaders as needed.

Partner with Finance to monitor and maintain organizational headcount health, ensuring alignment with budget targets, workforce planning goals, and strategic growth priorities.

Maintain and create P&C owned reports and dashboards powered by PowerBI

Explore opportunities to improve efficiencies for the P&OE team and key partners/COEs (ie. enhancing reporting, dashboards, etc) in partnership with the ROI team.

Job Changes and Organizational Design

Partner with BPs and support the execution of change plans for organization design and business transformations.

With direction from the BP team or direct manager, engage with ROI/People Operations (and GTR if applicable) to execute mass organizational job changes, by bringing them into organizational design planning discussions and partnering on all Workday changes

Provide managers with supporting documentation for drafting job descriptions utilizing any technologies that assist in this process

Submit requests to open position requisitions for businesses

Administration

Creates and coordinates consistent storage and usage of tools and templates in SharePoint

Participates as part of the Investments pod and supports meeting decisions and actions in a timely manner

What you'll need

University degree, HR related degree preferred

Ability to manage, perform and prioritize multiple priorities under time constraints

Strong attention to detail

Perform detailed tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) at all levels in the organization (employees, managers, and leaders) while maintaining confidentiality

Sound knowledge of HR policies and programs

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Proven ability in reporting and analytics and creating visualizations, manipulating data in excel, and/or PowerBI

Proven ability to partner with HR technology teams to build basic reporting required to deliver on visualizations

Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to enhance decision‑making, automate workflows, or improve employee experience.

Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills

Minimum three years’ experience, preferable in Human Resources

Experience working with Workday or comparable HCM system experience

Experience with reporting and analytics and creating visualizations

Experience partnering with business or HR colleagues

What we’re offering The Base Salary range for this level is as follows: $90,000 - $140,000. Individual compensation and placement of this role in the range is based on different factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies, and internal equity as they relate to the role.
