Permanent# Senior Accounting TechnicianBoisbriandShareAs a Senior Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices. You will also participate in the month-end and fiscal year-end processes and occasionally support payroll.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES*** Review weekly payments to suppliers;* Daily review of accounts receivable and accounts payable invoices;* Perform various accounting entries;* Participate in the preparation of month-end and fiscal year-end files (balance sheet/income statement);* Prepare various management reports, reconciliations, and analyses for internal and external purposes;* Tax declarations (GST, QST, VAT, American taxes);* Monthly preparation and analysis of the financial statements for one of the companies;* Rigorous cash flow monitoring;* Participate in the improvement of the department's work methods;* Occasional payroll support.**OTHER RELATED TASKS*** Perform bank reconciliations (accounts and credit cards);* Perform data entry of receivables into the ERP system;* Customer credit validation;* Perform customer collection;* Perform data entry of payables into the ERP system;* Prepare weekly payments to suppliers (in the ERP system and at the bank).**POSITION REQUIREMENTS*** DEP or DEC in accounting and/or finance;* Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;* Bilingualism (French/English);* Good problem-solving skills and a strong sense of organization;* Excellent analytical skills, autonomy, and good adaptability;* Intermediate Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP and pivot tables) and ERP system;* Ability to meet tight deadlines;* Mastery of the complete accounting cycle;* Ability to perform accounting for multiple entities and in multiple currencies;* Knowledge of payroll.**Assets**
