as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement. We are searching for a responsible custodian to start immediately at J.C. Charyk Hanna School. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the school strictly adhering to Alberta Health Services guidelines. You must be able to perform routine physical tasks while standing and walking for long periods. Physical strength and stamina are an asset. Preference will be given to an applicant with knowledge of standard cleaning practices and procedures. This is a full time temporary position working a total of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. A split shift may be available with the right candidate. Training will be provided in the use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and the safe use of chemicals. Personal protective equipment will be provided. Prairie Land School Division maintains comparative provincial wages along with an excellent benefits and pension package.
