Job Title - GuideWire Architect
Job Summary
Guidewire ClaimCenter Technical Architect and program manager with deep expertise in Guidewire version upgrades to lead and support large‑scale ClaimCenter modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the end‑to‑end technical architecture driving upgrade strategy (v10+) ensuring platform compatibility and guiding development teams through complex upgrade integration and deployment activities.
Responsibilities
Identify technical risks related to upgrade scope data integrations and performance
Support testing teams with upgrade‑specific test strategy (regression, DBCC, performance)
Collaborate with business QA infrastructure and vendor stakeholders
Provide clear technical status, risks and recommendations to leadership
Own the technical architecture for Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations and upgrades
Define target‑state architecture for ClaimCenter v10+ including application integration, data and infrastructure layers
Provide technical leadership and governance across development, testing and deployment teams
Review and approve technical designs, extensions and customizations
Lead the design and implementation of integration solutions within the Guidewire ecosystem ensuring seamless connectivity across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter
Oversee the development and deployment of Guidewire tools and accelerators to enhance system functionality and streamline processes
Provide expert guidance on the use of Guidewire Studio and Digital Portal to optimize user experience and system performance
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify integration opportunities and develop solutions that align with business objectives
Ensure the effective use of Guidewire Ins Suite Fundamental and predefined and custom plugins to support business needs
Manage the integration of Guidewire ContactManager to improve customer relationship management and data accuracy
Utilize Guidewire Work Model to facilitate hybrid work arrangements ensuring productivity and collaboration across teams
Drive the adoption of best practices in integration architecture focusing on scalability, security and performance
Monitor and evaluate system performance implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime
Provide training and support to team members on Guidewire technologies fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes and solutions ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders
Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that deliver value
Contribute to the company’s purpose by leveraging integration solutions to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Must have architectural experience with GuideWire Policy and Claims center to be considered
Extensive experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and ClaimCenter demonstrating deep understanding of their functionalities
Strong background in using Guidewire tools and accelerators to enhance system capabilities and drive business success
Proficiency in Guidewire Studio and Digital Portal optimizing user experience and system performance
Expertise in Guidewire Ins Suite Fundamental and predefined and custom plugins supporting business needs effectively
Capability in integrating Guidewire ContactManager to improve customer relationship management and data accuracy
Knowledge of Guidewire Work Model to facilitate hybrid work arrangements and ensure team productivity
Minimum of 16 years of experience in integration architecture with a focus on Guidewire technologies
Certifications Required
GW Claim Center, Policy Center and Cloud certification recommended.
Salary And Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until March 11, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $200,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
