Dollarama in Oshawa, ON is seeking an
Assistant Store Manager
to join their retail team. This is a hands‑on leadership role that supports the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily store operations.
Responsibilities
Support store operations including opening and closing procedures
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of store associates
Oversee merchandising and ensure products are properly displayed and replenished
Manage inventory including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
Enforce loss prevention policies and health and safety compliance
Handle administrative duties including scheduling, cash management, and reporting
Requirements
Previous retail experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem‑solving skills to handle day‑to‑day store challenges
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
Basic computer literacy for administrative functions
Previous retail supervisory experience, strong communication and organizational skills, flexibility for varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
