Position Overview:
The Product Stewardship Analyst supports the business product steward/Manager in the activities of the regional regulatory compliance and marketability of Archroma's products, raw materials, and traded goods. This contract role is responsible for research, collection and validation of regulatory data as per the global Product Stewardship strategy, maintaining regulatory databases, securing product certifications, and supporting teams in achieving chemical compliance and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update product safety data in SAP-EHS, sales/marketing databases and other regulatory systems.
• Documentation of hazard assessments, GHS classifications, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels for assigned countries and languages.
• Prepare registrations dossier, regulatory reporting under the supervision of business Steward.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and supply chain teams to collect relevant data for chemical compliance. Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries regarding chemical safety, eco-labels, food contact assessments, and certifications.
• Compile & submit product compliance data accordingly to market & application standards.
• Secure certifications such as FDA, ecolabels, and customer-specific or brand requirements.
• Product safety data collection, validation and maintenance of company databases (e.g., SAP-EHS, The Safe Edge, Salesforce). Maintain accurate record-keeping of product safety information and customer communications.
Required Competencies:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in product stewardship or Environment, Health, Safety department in a specialty chemical manufacturing company
• Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory
• Quick learner with ability to work with moderate supervision and guidance Basic knowledge of Customer-focused mindset with a Can-do approach to problem-solving.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Interested in chemical regulations and product standards.
• Awareness of SAP-EHS / regulatory databases preferred.
