About The Role
We are seeking a mid to senior Salesforce professional who operates confidently as both a
functional consultant and a business analyst
on client-facing Salesforce implementations. This role is ideal for someone who leads with business understanding first and Salesforce platform expertise second.
You should be comfortable owning discovery and solution design end-to-end, running client workshops, translating business needs into structured requirements, and advising on Salesforce configuration without supervision on platform fundamentals. The right candidate can independently guide clients from discovery through delivery and UAT.
Location & Work Model
Kansas City, MO:
This role follows a
hybrid model
, with a mix of onsite and remote work based on client and team needs.
Other U.S Cities:
Low level of travel within the U.S.
may be required on occasion for client workshops or key project milestones. Travel is infrequent and planned in advance.
LATAM:
This role is
100% remote
for candidates based in Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Discovery
Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with minimal oversight
Elicit, document, and refine business requirements and user stories
Map business processes and perform gap analysis
Manage stakeholders across business and technical teams
Support UAT planning, execution, and documentation
Salesforce Solution Design
Own the functional design throughout the Salesforce implementation lifecycle
Evaluate and recommend Salesforce features aligned to business goals
Translate client needs into a prioritized, structured backlog
Collaborate with developers on handoff for complex builds
Consulting & Client Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor to clients in a consulting or professional services environment
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Present solutions and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders
Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
Required Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Administrator
(required)
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
At least one consultant-level certification:
Sales Cloud Consultant
or
Service Cloud Consultant
3 to 5 years of Salesforce experience in client-facing implementations
Proven experience running discovery and leading requirements independently
Nice to Have
Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) Consultant certification
Additional Salesforce cloud certifications aligned to practice verticals
Salesforce Configuration
(Bonus, Not Required)
Experience with declarative configuration such as flows, page layouts, custom objects, and validation rules is a plus. However, this role prioritizes
strong business analysis and consulting skills
. We have developers for complex builds, and candidates will not be screened out for limited configuration experience if they are strong consultants.
