Data Engineer (Power BI) and React with Ruby on Rails

We are looking for a skilled

Data Engineer

with strong experience in

Power BI

and frontend development using

React , along with backend experience in

Ruby on Rails . This role involves building data-driven applications, dashboards, and scalable data pipelines while working closely with product, engineering, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Model, transform, and optimize data for reporting and performance Build and maintain frontend applications using React Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Ruby on Rails Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems

Requirements

Experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX Proficiency in React for building modern web interfaces Backend development experience using Ruby on Rails Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases Experience with version control systems such as Git Understanding of data engineering best practices and SDLC

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Exposure to ETL/ELT tools and workflows Knowledge of data warehousing concepts Experience working with REST APIs and data integration
