As we expand our presence in the LATAM market, we are looking for a versatile HR Specialist to be the backbone of our Brazil operations, ensuring our people are supported, our office is thriving, and our operations are 100% compliant.
We are looking for a hands-on person to expand our HR department. You will be the primary point of contact for our Brazilian team, ensuring that AI Rudder is not only a great place to work but also a compliant and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and career development.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for the Brazil team: from seamless onboarding of new hires to conducting exit interviews.
- Proactively address employee concerns and mediate conflicts to maintain a high-performance, positive culture.
- Organize local team-building events and engagement initiatives to keep the remote and local teams connected.
Local Laws & Compliance
- Ensure all HR activities strictly adhere to CLT (Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho) and local collective bargaining agreements (Sindicatos).
- Oversee mandatory training, workplace safety regulations (NRs), and health programs (PCMSO/PPRA).
- Stay updated on changes in Brazilian labor legislation and advise management on necessary adjustments.
- Manage the relationship with local legal counsel regarding labor risks and documentation.
HR Administration & Payroll Support
- Manage employee records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with LGPD (General Data Protection Law).
Office Management
- Oversee the daily operations of our São Paulo office hub.
- Manage relationships with office vendors.
- Ensure the office environment is professional and well-stocked.
- Handle local procurement of equipment (laptops, furniture) for the team.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3–4 years of experience in HR, ideally within a high-growth tech startup or a multinational company.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Brazilian Labor Law (CLT) is non-negotiable.
- Language: Professional fluency in Portuguese and English (you will collaborate with global teams in English).
- Open to: Be open to receiving training in attracting talent.
- Skills: "People-first" mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized with an ability to manage administrative tasks with minimal errors.
- Self-starter attitude—able is capable of working independently and build processes from scratch.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Workspace.
