Position Challenges
Support the factory’s legal needs, with a strong focus on Labor Law (individual and collective), occupational health and safety, and strategic litigation management. This role will be essential in mitigating structural risks from the outset of operations, serving as a key advisor to HR and Operations. Secondary responsibilities will include contractual and compliance support.
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and interpret labor laws, regulations, precedents, and Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), including PGR, PCMSO, and labor inspections.
Deliver preventive legal advisory to HR and Operations, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
Manage labor-related matters: lawsuits, collective bargaining, and union relations.
Handle civil and labor litigation, coordinating external law firms and aligning strategies with company interests.
Support corporate, compliance, and governance processes.
Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts.
Prepare legal opinions and technical reports for executive decision-making.
Contribute to internal training sessions on labor, compliance, and regulatory topics.
Requirements
Law degree with active OAB registration.
Previous experience in labor law, with strong exposure to litigation and collective bargaining.
In-house experience in an industrial environment (law firm background considered if combined with operational exposure).
Solid knowledge of labor law, occupational health and safety regulations, and litigation management.
Advanced English (will be tested).
Advanced Office skills.
