Brazilstrat connects top-tier Brazilian remote talent with organizations abroad. We are currently selecting a Structural Engineer to join a US-based partner company.

In this role, you will work remotely performing structural analysis and design for projects including awnings and similar outdoor structures. This is an ideal position for an experienced engineer looking for flexible, project-based work with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities: * Structural Analysis: perform detailed structural calculations and analysis for outdoor structures such as awnings. * Design & Documentation: prepare structural drawings, specifications, and technical reports that meet international standards and client requirements. * Software Modeling: use structural analysis software (SAP2000 or equivalent) to model loads, stresses, and structural behavior. * Technical Collaboration: coordinate with architects, fabricators, and project managers to ensure structural integrity and constructability of designs. * Quality Assurance: review designs for compliance with applicable building codes and engineering best practices.

Requirements: * 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably with exposure to steel, aluminum, or lightweight structures. * Advanced/Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory. * Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000. * Strong understanding of structural mechanics, load calculations, and material properties. * Tech-savvy: comfortable with CAD tools, Excel for calculations, and modern productivity software. Experience using AI tools to increase efficiency is a plus. * Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills. * Self-motivated and able to manage project timelines independently in a remote setting.
