Along with our partner, we are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to augment the existing team and help accelerate delivery of a critical platform rewrite. This role will play a key part in shaping, building, and stabilizing a new integrated Salesforce-based platform, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partner teams.

Role Overview The Senior Salesforce Developer will work alongside our partner teams, contributing hands-on to the design and development of the new integrated platform. This is a full-stack Salesforce role, with a strong emphasis on backend development, system integrations, and data modeling, as well as selective frontend work following established UI patterns and standards.

In this role, they will be expected to take ownership of complex features, contribute to technical decision-making, and uphold engineering best practices across a distributed development environment.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce backend components (Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, async processing) aligned with the ongoing platform rewrite. Contribute to Salesforce architecture decisions, including data modeling, integration patterns, and performance optimization. Implement front-end functionality (LWC / Aura) by following existing design systems, UX patterns, and coding standards. Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven patterns where applicable. Collaborate closely with distributed teams, including India-based Salesforce developers and the Brazil-based Astra team, ensuring alignment and consistent delivery. Perform code reviews, mentor less-experienced developers, and promote best practices across the codebase. Ensure solutions meet high standards for code quality, security, performance, and maintainability. Participate in our partnerโ€™s technical vetting, documentation, and formal code review processes. Proactively identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement during the rewrite effort.

Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with deep expertise in Apex, triggers, asynchronous processing, and enterprise integration patterns. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform limits, performance tuning, and secure coding practices. Experience building and maintaining Lightning Web Components (LWC) and working within established front-end frameworks. Proven experience working on complex, large-scale Salesforce implementations or platform rewrites. Exposure to cloud platforms and migration initiatives (GCP preferred, but AWS/Azure acceptable). Experience working in distributed or staff-augmentation teams, collaborating across time zones and cultures. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Nearshore location preferred (Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica) to ensure time-zone alignment. Ability to successfully pass a full technical interview and live coding assessment.

Nice to Have: Exposure to Flutter or Go, which may be relevant for future product initiatives. Experience with video/audio streaming applications or real-time collaboration platforms. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Salesforce DevOps tooling. Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architecture Designer) are a plus.

Why Join: Work on a high-impact, end-to-end platform rewrite with a clearly defined launch timeline. Collaborate with senior engineers and technical leaders in a distributed, cross-functional environment. Opportunity to influence architecture and engineering practices on a mission-critical system. Fully remote, nearshore-friendly role with potential for long-term engagement and growth.

Benefits: A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. The opportunity to work on a high-impact, mission-critical platform alongside senior engineers in a fully remote, collaborative environment. Two weeks of paid vacation per year. 10 paid days for local holidays.

*Please note our partner is only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within their team.
