Role Overview
The Social Media Manager owns the planning, execution, and optimization of social media efforts that drive brand awareness, engagement, and business impact. This role blends creative storytelling with performance analysis—managing content calendars, producing high-quality visuals and copy, engaging communities, and optimizing results across multiple platforms.
You will act as the brand’s digital voice, translating company initiatives, products, and stories into compelling social content that resonates with target audiences. This role is ideal for creative, detail-oriented social media professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and balance creativity with data-driven decision-making.

Core Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Content Creation — 35%
Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals
Create original content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and X/Twitter
Produce short-form videos, graphics, testimonials, and visual stories
Manage content calendars and ensure consistent posting schedules
Write platform-specific copy that reflects brand voice and drives engagement
Design and edit content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools
Maintain consistent visual and messaging standards across all content
Adapt formats to platform-specific features and best practices
Community Management & Engagement — 25%
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly
Foster positive, professional, and engaging online communities
Manage sentiment, moderation, and on-brand interactions
Surface high-value inquiries and route qualified leads appropriately
Build relationships with followers, advocates, and partners
Support and manage community spaces (groups, forums, or channels)
Analytics & Performance Optimization — 20%
Track KPIs including engagement, reach, follower growth, CTR, and conversions
Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
Use analytics tools to measure performance and ROI
Conduct A/B testing on content formats, timing, and messaging
Identify top-performing content and replicate success patterns
Optimize strategy based on performance trends and insights
Platform Management & Trends — 10%
Stay current on algorithm updates, features, and best practices
Monitor industry and competitor social activity
Recommend new formats, platforms, or experiments
Optimize profiles for discoverability and conversion
Ensure compliance with platform policies and brand guidelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration — 10%
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams
Source internal content for authentic storytelling
Align social efforts with campaigns, launches, and initiatives
Support paid social efforts when applicable
Share audience insights to inform broader marketing strategy
Requirements
Must-Haves (Required)
Experience
1-3+ years in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation
Proven experience managing multiple platforms simultaneously
Portfolio demonstrating strong content and measurable results
Content & Communication
Native or near-native English proficiency (written and verbal)
Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills
Ability to adapt tone across platforms and audiences
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with major social platforms
Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
Familiarity with analytics and scheduling platforms
Work Style
Highly organized and deadline-driven
Data-informed decision maker
Comfortable working remotely with EST/PST overlap
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
5+ years in social media or digital marketing
Experience with paid social campaigns
Advanced video editing or motion graphics skills
Community-building or brand launch experience
SEO or content optimization knowledge
