Data Protection Consultant

SMT is a professional services and intelligence firm specializing in technologies that transform the way organizations interact with their customers, employees, communities, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities Support pre-sales initiatives through discovery calls, privacy assessments, solution scoping, and participation in proposal development. Deliver solution demonstrations focused on data protection, privacy management, and regulatory compliance use cases. Lead end-to-end implementations for enterprise clients, from requirements gathering and solution design to go-live and post-implementation support. Translate data protection and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable system configurations and processes. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding privacy programs, governance models, and best practices. Support the structuring, maturation, and continuous improvement of clients’ privacy, compliance, and risk management initiatives.

Requirements Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. 5+ years of experience in consulting or professional services with software implementation. 5+ years of experience in data protection, privacy, and third-party risk. Availability for international travel up to 40% of the time (company-funded).
