We’re looking for an

IT Coordinator / Technical Virtual Assistant

to join a fast-growing, remote-first scale-up and work closely with the

Director of Tech

.

This role sits at the intersection of

support, systems, and improvement

. Yes, you’ll handle day-to-day IT needs: Onboarding, access, troubleshooting, but you’ll also have a seat at the table when it comes to improving how things work.

If you enjoy fixing problems and thinking about how to prevent them next time, this role will feel rewarding.

What you’ll actually be doing: You’ll be the go-to person for keeping internal tech running smoothly. That means onboarding new hires, managing access across Google Workspace and other tools, and helping teammates when they hit everyday technical issues like 2FA errors, permissions, or spreadsheet hiccups. But this role doesn’t stop at “fixing tickets.”

You’ll work directly with the Director of Tech to: Test new tools and workflows before they’re rolled out Brainstorm better ways to handle onboarding, access, and internal requests Turn recurring problems into cleaner, more reliable processes Improve Slack workflows, reminders, and internal systems Help raise the overall security and structure of a fully remote setup There’s room here to

build small but meaningful improvements

What we’re looking for: We’re looking for someone who is: Comfortable supporting internal teams in an IT, ops, or technical support capacity Confident working with

Google Workspace

and

Google Sheets Familiar with

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

at a basic level Organized, detail-oriented, and calm when things break Curious about security best practices, especially in remote environments Comfortable collaborating, asking questions, and thinking through solutions

You don’t need to be a senior engineer. You do need to enjoy being hands-on, reliable, and thoughtful about how systems are built and maintained.

Role details Fully remote (contractor-based) Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST (1-hour break) Rate:

USD 6–10/hour
