We are looking for a

Lead QA Automation Engineer

to drive and evolve the automation strategy for a

secure financial platform

. This is a

hands-on leadership role

where you will combine deep QA expertise with strong automation engineering skills to ensure high-quality delivery across functional, integration, and system levels.

About the Role You will lead automation initiatives while remaining actively involved in testing activities. This role requires someone who can balance

strategy and execution

, working closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environments. Automation is the primary focus — but strong overall QA knowledge is essential to guarantee complete quality coverage across a complex, multi-cloud financial platform.

Key Responsibilities Hands-On Testing Perform exploratory and targeted manual testing when automation is not feasible Support release validation cycles with automated regression suites Validate platform reliability across multi-cloud and hybrid environments

QA Processes & Tools Define and evolve automation standards, coding practices, and quality metrics Ensure traceability between requirements and automated coverage Maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks Contribute to defect analysis and root cause investigation

Continuous Improvement Advocate QA best practices across functional, integration, and exploratory testing Guide long-term automation strategy and framework improvements Stay current with industry trends, tools, and DevOps practices

Core Requirements ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience ✅ 10+ years of hands-on software testing experience ✅ 4+ years leading QA initiatives or teams ✅ Strong expertise in functional and integration testing (including API level) ✅ Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (

Playwright

) ✅ Solid API automation experience (REST, microservices, distributed systems) ✅ Strong programming skills in

JavaScript & TypeScript ✅ Advanced debugging and root cause analysis skills ✅ Experience in Agile / DevOps environments
