PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES · Lead and develop the Brazil Field Engineering team, including competency development, performance management, and resource planning.

· Oversee engineering execution and delivery for drilling equipment and pressure control system upgrades, ensuring work meets customer expectations and industry standards.

· Coordinate engineering project execution from planning through closeout, ensuring an optimal balance of quality, cost, and schedule.

· Provide technical guidance to engineers and field personnel, drawing on expertise in drilling and pressure control equipment.

· Collaborate with global Field Engineering teams to align regional execution with broader strategy.

· Support continuous improvement in engineering workflows, field support practices, and customer interface processes.

· Build relationships with regional customers, vendors, and partners to understand operational challenges and support long-term business growth and operational reliability.

· Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

· Support regional sales initiatives across South America through technical leadership and close collaboration with commercial teams during opportunity development and customer engagement. FACILITY / GROUP-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lead the Brazil Field Engineering organisation to achieve financial, operational, and customer support objectives.

· Forecast resource requirements and contribute to annual planning cycles.

· Provide clear technical and operational leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across Brazil’s offshore and onshore projects.

· Strengthen customer relationships through effective communication, proactive engagement, and timely issue resolution.

· Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, and international engineering groups to support upgrades, modifications, and lifecycle services for customer assets.

· Drive efficiency and effectiveness across the team, ensuring reliable execution while maintaining a strong safety culture. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline).

· Significant professional experience working with drilling equipment or pressure control systems.

· Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering or technical teams.

· Experience coordinating complex technical projects with customers and suppliers. Experience working with major drilling contractors or operators is an asset.

· Familiarity with industry regulations, technical standards, and certification requirements for drilling and pressure control systems. Experience supporting engineering activities in offshore drilling operations is advantageous.

· Proficiency with general business and engineering software environments. JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to represent the organisation effectively during customer meetings and technical reviews.

· Willingness to travel within Brazil and internationally as required.

· Ability to lead in a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment.

· Capacity to operate across different time zones and collaborate effectively with leadership based in Europe and other global centres.

· Technical depth in drilling equipment and pressure control equipment, including operational principles, maintenance practices, and failure mechanisms.

· Ability to guide troubleshooting and technical investigations in the field, and translate field findings into actionable engineering recommendations and improvement plans.

· Understanding of engineering documentation, certification requirements, and industry standards (., API, ISO).

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, service data, and equipment performance information.
