About the Role

A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a highly analytical

Economic Modeling Analyst

to structure, develop, and continuously enhance comprehensive cost models for

O&M and Asset Management services

across wind and solar projects in Latin America. This position plays a strategic role by connecting Commercial, Finance, Accounting, People & Culture, and Procurement teams, ensuring that proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with corporate guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys building financial models from scratch, analyzing complex data, and contributing directly to pricing strategy in a fast-growing regional environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Cost Modeling & Pricing Structure Develop comprehensive cost models from the ground up. Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses. Update and improve models based on historical performance. Create structured cost sheets for Asset Management services. 2. Proposals, Bids & Tenders (RFPs/RFQs) Support the preparation of technical and financial proposals. Consolidate internal assumptions and ensure alignment with the proposed scope. Partner with the Commercial team during tender processes and reviews. 3. Benchmarking & Pricing Strategy Conduct internal and external cost benchmarking. Analyze market trends and regional cost structures. Provide strategic pricing analysis and insights to leadership. 4. Tools Development & Automation Develop dashboards in Power BI. Automate pricing and advanced analytical processes. Structure databases for predictive analysis and proposal tracking. 5. Commercial Governance & Pricing Committee Prepare materials and business justifications for Pricing Committee reviews. Work closely with Sales leadership to validate assumptions and pricing strategies. 6. Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement Evaluate variances between estimated and actual costs. Update pricing assumptions and models based on lessons learned. 7. Stakeholder Management Coordinate inputs from multiple internal departments. Participate occasionally in client meetings. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields. Strong analytical profile with solid financial modeling expertise. Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI. Fluent English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the renewable energy sector is a strong plus. Familiarity with commercial processes, tenders, and service contracts. Experience handling large datasets and preparing executive-level presentations. Work Model Flexible location within Brazil (São Paulo preferred). Occasional travel within the region may be required.
