Working with respect to the US timezone is a requirement for the position. Attending meetings, being actively involved in the decision making process and collaborating with all of these stakeholders are essential parts of this position. Role Overview We are looking for a Systems Engineer with deep experience in compression algorithms and high-performance systems. You will work closely with the core engineering team to help analyze, validate, optimize, and productionize advanced lossless compression technology. The ideal candidate is both technically rigorous and intellectually curious, capable of investigating unconventional approaches while applying strong systems engineering discipline. What you'll work on Designing and optimizing lossless compression techniques Evaluating compression performance across different datasets Improving throughput, compression ratio, and memory efficiency Benchmarking and profiling performance-critical systems Building high-performance libraries and services Collaborating with engineers to productionize compression technology What we're looking for 5+ years of software engineering experience Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, C, or other systems languages Experience with performance optimization and profiling Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures Experience building high-performance systems or infrastructure Comfortable working with confidential technology under NDA Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Nice to have Experience with compression algorithms (LZ, Zstd, Huffman, Brotli, etc.) Background in storage systems, distributed systems, or databases Experience working at cloud providers or infrastructure companies Experience with benchmarking or systems performance testing Familiarity with AI / GenAI development tools Benefits Yearly Office Allowance Budget Macbook Purchase Support Wellbeing Support If you think that you are a good fit for the position, please apply through LinkedIn.
