We are looking for a part-time, remote UI/UX Designer with 6+ years in UI/UX or Product Design to to partner closely with the Product and Engineering teams to elevate usability, visual consistency, and user experience across the platforms of our U.S. client. You will work 10 hours per week in a hands-on role supporting new feature design, workflow improvements, and visual system enhancements across the SaaS products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in B2B software environments, translating product requirements into thoughtful user experiences, and collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
Our client provides a cloud-based ERP platform to hundreds of energy industry customers delivering market-leading field service management, field data gathering, transportation, production, accounting, and land software solutions. Responsibilities
Design intuitive user experiences for complex SaaS workflows and data-heavy applications
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to shape feature concepts and interaction patterns
Apply and extend existing design systems and component libraries
Conduct lightweight user research or usability testing when needed
Iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback and technical constraints
Ensure designs align with accessibility and usability best practices
Prepare assets and specs for smooth handoff to engineering
Requirements
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
6+ years in UI/UX or Product Design, with significant experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work on data-intensive systems (dashboards, tables, grids, reporting tools, multi-step workflows)
Experience designing for multi-role environments with interconnected user workflows
Experience collaborating closely with product and engineering to navigate technical constraints and trade-offs
Proficiency with design tools
Familiarity with design systems and component-driven product development
Ability to work independently within a limited-hours engagement
Clear communicator who can explain design decisions to technical and non-technical partners
Desired Expereince
Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering
Experience in energy, finance, accounting, or other regulated/operational industries
