Location: Brazil, only; 100% remote Type: Full time hours, contract

Description: We are searching for a Product Experience Designer that can effectively communicate with our clients and internal teams to develop the right features for their needs. Applicants must be able to extract/understand requirements and refinements from stakeholders, evaluate the solution for effectiveness, and clearly articulate any recommendations to the client and internal teams.

Applicant should be proficient in illustrating these requirements, and the methods to achieve them, in wireframes/designs/prototypes employing best practices, utilizing current tools in order to establish a strong foundation for the rest of the implementation. Applicants must also have a strong ability to clearly communicate requirements and have productive discussions with members of development, QA, Product, and Program Management team members. Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Behavior Driven Development, and User Centered Design are fundamental to our approach and applicants should have experience implementing these in their process. This is an English speaking position and you must be able to clearly communicate with both clients and the team.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with clients and product leaders to translate/illustrate business goals into detailed designs and supporting documentation

- Able to work both independently and with a team to achieve and solve for proposed business problems

- Communicate and collaborate well with other members of the team including, architects, developers, Quality Assurance, Product Owners, Program Management, and client stakeholders

- Manage a pace that allows for the clients to interact, review, and reviewed and receive deliverables, giving them a clear buy-in/approval to the product and features to be delivered

- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills, to work on more than one project at a time.

- Able to shift priorities as they change; our environment is rapidly changing

- Applicant must be able to quickly assess and adapt to change

- Present solutions to clients and discuss the success of that proposed solution to met business goals.

- Able to actively listen to feedback, to understand how and why that feedback is important to the client or internal team about the project

Required Skills

- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, etc.

- Critical Thinking - must be an individual who enjoys solving complex problems with intricate solutions

- Understanding of the core tenants of Agile methodology, and practical implementation needs

- Effective Communication, and ability to confidently present alternate suggestions to clients

- Expert at root cause analysis

- Understanding of core design fundamentals, especially as the relate to digital media

- Portfolio that illustrates your execution of User Experience Design into tangible final products

- Understanding of mobile first design, and difference between major mobile platform UI components and interactions

Additional Skills (not required)

- Solid understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS, Javascript languages, etc.)

- Experience working with AI for research as well as creating prototypes

- Experience with Technical Documentation, APIs, mapping, etc…

- User journey mapping, site path diagraming, and end-user testing methods are a plus
