Product Engineering

Key Responsibilities: Lead R&D, Manufacturing, and other functions in program development activities to ensure achievement of key milestones and vehicle Quality/Cost/Timing targets. Support the Assistant Chief Vehicle Engineer in defining and completing program metrics and direction to meet overall vehicle objectives. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring control of the critical path. Prepare and chair progress milestone meetings, confirming all deliverables. Monitor metrics, identify key issues, and escalate “decision-ready” matters to the Chief Engineer. Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget. Work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization. Anticipate potential Quality/Cost/Timing concerns and proactively propose preventive or recovery actions. Guide teammates in project management activities. Be accountable for all deliverables and actions within the project. Knowledge and Competencies: Broad knowledge and experience in the automotive industry. Proven leadership experience and people management skills. Strong technical knowledge of the market and applications. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to inspire and motivate others, even without a formal leadership title. Experience Required: Background in Product Development and/or Project Management. Solid experience in the automotive industry. Experience in Product Development Engineering or Production Engineering. Experience interacting with executive-level stakeholders. Advanced english level Mandatory bachelor’s degree in engineering
