About this Position

As a Safety Technician at Henkel’s Inspiration Center Jundiaí (ICJ), you will play a key role in ensuring the safe operation of laboratory environments dedicated to product development and customer applications. This position focuses on implementing and maintaining SHE standards and compliance with local regulations and Henkel policies. You will work closely with internal teams, customers, and visitors to promote a strong safety culture in a dynamic, non-factory setting that involves hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver safety inductions are essential.

What you'll do

Provide technical support for implementing and maintaining SHE standards, policies, and procedures at the site level. Ensure safe operation and preventive measures for laboratory activities at ICJ, complying with local regulations and Henkel standards. Promote safety culture and deliver training programs. Execute risk assessments and safety processes such as PTW, HHZ, MOC, HAZOP, PRA, JSA, and WRA. Support audits and inspections from customers, internal teams, certifications, and authorities. Investigate and report incidents, ensuring compliance with management systems. Lead internal SHE committees, including Emergency Brigade and CIPA. Monitor and control SHE KPIs aligned with legal and Henkel requirements. Manage PPE distribution and ensure proper usage. Conduct safety inductions and maintain effective communication with clients, visitors, and external stakeholders.

What makes you a good fit

Must have Safety Technician registration – Ministry of Labor registration – Safety Technician. Intermediate English (and/or Spanish). Previous experience of 2 years as SHE Technician. Availability to work in Jundiaí. Knowledge of occupational safety, emergency response, permit-to-work processes, high-hazard work, and regulatory standards. Presentation skills. Strong communication skills with stakeholders and visitors. Proficiency in Windows and Office 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint). Familiarity with IMS (Integrated Management System). Experience with legal requirement management systems. Regular knowledge of fire prevention and extinguishing systems. Some perks of joining Henkel
