Senior Software Engineer UX (C# / XAML)

We are seeking a remote, full-time

Senior Software Engineer, UX, with 5+ years of professional

experience to join our U.S. client. Candidates must have a strong background in C#, XAML, WinForms, and MAUI. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a small team in an agile environment to improve our clients' UI experiences by developing new functionality and maintaining existing client applications. You must have experience with UI design, development, and debugging. Protecting over 17,000 facilities in 80 countries across six continents, our client is a global leader in providing comprehensive visibility into critical infrastructure management, enabling swift problem resolution, waste reduction, and cost efficiencies while significantly elevating operational performance. The company's suite of software solutions enables customers to quickly identify and remediate critical plant issues, elevate plant operational performance, and ultimately drive safer, more efficient, always-on operations.

Responsibilities Seek input from stakeholders, share and review UI mockups, synthesize feedback on usability, carefully consider localization, and empower other team members to create learning materials for the new UI Develop view models, views, custom controls, and UI patterns in C# and XAML in both MAUI and WPF Transform existing WinForms dialogs into reimagined and improved WPF implementations Take ownership of solving interesting problems, architect new objects, improve the solutions of other team members, and maintain the solution as it is deployed globally

Required Experience Excellent English communication skills 5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments using C# and XAML Strong proficiency in WinForms and MAUI Ability to contribute across the stack from back-end logic and data modeling to key front-end integrations Strong understanding of component-based architecture, state management, responsive design, and performance optimization Experience working collaboratively with design and back-end teams Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams

Preferred Experience Experience with

third-party controls, such as Telerik and ComponentOne Experience with web development, such as Angular and ASP.NET Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework
