Job Title: SAP S4HANA FICO Consultant Location: Brazil, Remote Hybrid as applicable

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S4HANA FICO AMS Consultant to provide L2 and L3 application support for Finance processes with a strong focus on FI modules. The role involves production support, incident and problem management, minor enhancements, and close collaboration with business stakeholders, especially during month-end close activities, where CO and Material Ledger support is critical

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ownership, structured problem-solving, clear communication, and execution rigor in a run-and-maintain environment.

Key Responsibilities

AMS Production Support L2 L3 Provide L2L3 functional support for SAP S4HANA FI processes, including incident, problem, and service request management. Perform root cause analysis RCA for recurring issues and drive permanent corrective actions. Ensure compliance with SLAOLA targets and operational KPIs Handle critical finance incidents, coordinating with technical teams and providing timely stakeholder updates Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including extended support where required Functional Scope FI CO Strong hands-on support experience in FIGL FIAP FIAR Asset Accounting FIAA Bank Accounting Electronic Bank Statements Brazil localization taxes, legal reporting, country-specific requirements CO support primarily during the month-end close with focus on Material Ledger Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting Period-end allocations and settlements Deep understanding of FIMM and FISD integrations, especially finance postings from logistics processes Enhancements Change Support Deliver minor enhancements and configuration changes within the AMS scope Prepare functional specifications, test cases, and support UAT activities Participate in change and release management processes Maintain high-quality functional and operational documentation Soft Skills Behavioral Expectations Accountability takes end-to-end ownership of issues through resolution Communication Clear, concise, and proactive communication with business and IT stakeholders Rigor, discipline, structured analysis attention to detail, and auditready documentation Collaboration works effectively across teams, vendors and time zones Customer Focus Understands business impact and prioritizes work accordingly

Experience Qualifications

7 to 10 years of relevant SAP FICO experience Strong experience in SAP S4HANA AMS Production Support CO knowledge is required especially for monthend close and Material Ledger activities Experience working with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience SAP S4HANA Finance certification is a plus
