We are looking for Artificial Intelligence Engineer who wants to learn and transform his career. In this role you will: • GenAI/Agent Design and Implementation: Co-create RAG and agent solutions with business teams; define NFRs and quality metrics. • Data for AI (Lakehouse + Lakeflow): Prepare and version data/documents in Delta/volumes, index embeddings, and feed features/artifacts with captured lineage. Collaborate with Data Engineers on ingestion and pipelines with Lakeflow (Connect/Pipelines/Jobs). • MLOps/LLMOps and Governance: Orchestrate lifecycle (experiments, evaluation, prompt tuning/fine-tuning, champion/challenger), human reviews (Review App), versioning in MLflow, and governance in UC (model registry, tags, policies). • Service, Observability, and Cost: Publish models/agents with Mosaic AI Model Serving and AI Functions for batch/SQL; Implement monitoring (latency, cost/token, quality, security) and alerts. • Security, Privacy, and Sharing: Apply masks/ABAC to sensitive data (Unity Catalog), use Delta Sharing/Marketplaces/Clean Rooms when necessary, ensuring auditability and traceability. • Architecture and Best Practices: Select base models (hosted Databricks and/or external providers), apply RAG patterns and guardrails, validate with benchmarking and automated evaluations (hallucination, retrieval accuracy, factuality). Technical Skills • Databricks Mosaic AI: Agent Framework/AgentBricks, Vector Search, Model Serving, AI Functions, AI Playground/Review App • RAG: chunking/embedding, evaluation, hallucination mitigation, and prompt engineering with versioning (MLflow). • Languages: Python and libraries such as PySprk, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and similar; • Governance: Unity Catalog (model registry, lineage, masking, tags); Delta Lake (tables/volumes). • Data Pipelines: Lakeflow (Connect/Pipelines/Jobs) for data ingestion and transformation for AI. • Services: Mosaic AI Model Serving (REST endpoints) and integration with applications/BI via SQL/AI Functions. • Observability: quality/cost/latency metrics and agent decision logs. Differential Skills • Experience with MS Azure cloud services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Key Vault). • Knowledge of Lakeflow GA and Real-Time Mode; familiarity with the evolution of DLT → Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines. • Orchestration of agents and pipelines using Crew.ai and n8n platforms. • Integration with Atlan (end-to-end pipeline to BI) and corporate catalogs. • Experience with Data Mesh and federated data governance/AI.
